A meeting with the delegation of the “Crisis Management Initiative” (CMI) was held by Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev. Taking part in the meeting at the MFA of the PMR were Roxana Cristescu, the Head of CMI's Programme in Eastern Europe & Caucasus, as well as Programme Advisers Denis Matveev and Jale Sultanli.
The representatives of the organization described the activities of CMI on the track of the Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement, and also informed of a number of planned activities.
Today, a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Igor Shornikov and representatives of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (ConIFA) was held in the MFA of PMR. Today Deputy Prime Minister for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister of the PMR Nina Shtanski sent congratulations to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov on the state holiday - Russia Day.
The Minister emphasized in her congratulatory message that the 12th of June symbolizes the unity and cohesion, the true patriotism and unshakable will of the great Russian people, fully felt in Pridnestrovie.
The Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie Nina Shtanski in an interview to the Zvezda TV Channel spoke about the situation in the unrecognized state. According to her, the situation has aggravated drastically.
“The Blockade ring is closed, Ukraine has blocked all our import. We are not able to fully carry out our social obligations to the people. Ukraine has also blocked the freedom of movement for Pridnestrovian citizens with Russian passports,” Shtanski said.
